* Bonjour Rob. Peux-tu te présenter à nos lecteurs et nous dire comment es-tu devenu acteur de films X ?
Hello Rob. Can you present yourselves at our readers and how did you become film X actor ?

I got into porn right after my 18th birthday, so it been a huge part of my life. I have always been the black sheep of porn, the only guy with 100s of tattoos It both hurt me and helped me in the biz, but I am not one to change or conform So now I have been in the biz for almost 7 years acting in well over 450 adult movies and directing 15.

-> Je suis entré dans le cinéma porno juste après mon 18ème anniversaire, c’est donc une grande partie de ma vie. J'ai toujours été le mouton noir du porno, le seul type avec des centaines de tatouages ! Cela m'a servi et mais également desservi dans ce business, mais je ne suis pas du genre à changer ou à me conformer à la masse. Maintenant j'ai été dans ce milieu pendant presque 7 années en tant qu’acteur, jouant dans bien plus de 450 films et en ayant réalisé 15.

* Qu'est-ce qui t'a donné envie de réaliser tes propres films ?
What gave you desire for carrying out your movies ?

I have always liked porn, but thought of it as being very boring and very much the same. So I figured that I had to do something different. I decided to make movies that I wanted to see regardless of what the people in the biz said or thought of them.

-> J'ai toujours aimé le porno, tout en considérant cela comme très ennuyeux et assez rébarbatif. C’est pourquoi j’ai pensé que je devais faire quelque chose de différent. J'ai décidé de faire les films que j'aurais voulu voir, indépendamment de ce que les personnes dans le business en disent ou en pensent.

* Avoir ta propre boîte de production, était-ce un rêve ou une nécessité pour pouvoir réaliser tes films ?
To have your company of production, was this a dream or a necessity to be able to carry out your films ?

Yea totally, making movies has always been a dream of mine. I am very happy being in the adult biz and plan of staying for years to come. I launched Punx Productions about three years ago so I could undertake some bigger and more involved projects, such as Porn of the Dead. It been going very well and there will be more horror and gore to come

-> Oui totalement, réaliser des films a toujours été mon rêve. Je suis très heureux d’être dans le business du film pour adultes et j’espère le rester pendant des années à venir. J'ai lancé "Punx Productions" il y a environ trois ans, pour pouvoir entreprendre des projets plus grand et plus ambitieux, tel que "Porn of the Dead". Ca a très bien marché et il y aura plus d’horreur et de gore dans les films à venir…

* Quels types de films proposent "Punx Productions" ?
Which kind of films proposes "punx productions" ?

Punx Productions is my production company and we do everything from punk rock porn to zombie porn and everything in between I dont like to shoot the same stuff over and over again. So all of my movies are very different, yet still retain my style and vision.

-> "Punx Productions" est ma compagnie de production et nous faisons plein de choses, allant du "porno punk-rock" au "porno zombie" et tout ce qui peut se situer entre les deux. Je n’aime pas filmer la même chose à plusieurs reprises. Tous mes films sont très différents, tout en portant toujours la marque de ma vision et de mon style.

* Es-tu fan des films d'horreurs en général et si oui, est-ce pour ça que tu as inclu des zombies dans un film X ? Tu aimes les films de zombies ?
Are you fan of horrors movies in general and if so, this is that which pushed you to put zombies in a film X ? You like zombies movies ?

Yea totally, I am a huge fan of horror movies and zombie movies thats why I wanted to shoot Porn of the Dead.

-> Oui absolument. Je suis un grand fan des films d’horreurs et des films de zombies, c’est pour cette raison que j’ai voulu réaliser “Porn of the Dead".

* "Porn of the Dead" est un film à sketches, avec cinq histoires différentes. Pourquoi ne pas avoir choisi de développer un vrai scénario de films avec des zombies, en y incluant des séquences "hards" ?
"Porn of the dead" is presented in the form of a film at sketches, with five different stories. Why not have developed a true film scenario of zombie by including "hot" sequences ?

Yea Porn of the Dead is a vignette movie, based upon scenes out of five different zombie and horror movies that I have written up. Since we usually operate on a normal porn budget it would have been impossible to film five movies like I had originally planed, never the less Porn of the Dead came out amazing.

-> Exact, “Porn of the Dead" est un film à sketches, basé sur des scènes de cinq films différents de zombie que j'avais écrit. Puisque nous avions le budget habituel pour un film porno, il aurait été impossible de filmer cinq films comme je les avais imaginés au départ, pourtant "Porn of the Dead" s’est révélé impressionnant.

* Combien a temps a duré le tournage ?
how long did the turning of "porn of the dead" last ?

Porn of the Dead was shot in 2 days, but spent almost a year in post production due to content discrepancies Metro wanted the movie turned down a bit, and we came out with a great compromise.

-> “Porn of the Dead" a été filmé en 2 jours, mais est resté presque une année en post-production à cause des ennuis que nous a causé Metro, qui voulait édulcorer le film, et nous avons du faire de grands compromis.

* Qui a conçu les séquences gores du film ?
Who carried out the sequences "gore" of this film ?

I brought in 2 different SFX guys to handle the gore and zombies. They were great for the movie and I was very happy with the out come of the gore.

-> J’avais deux personnes pour réaliser les effets gore et les zombies. Ceux-ci sont excellents pour ce film et j’étais très content du résultat obtenu pour les scènes gores.

* Dans les crédits, au tout début du film, on peut voir l'actrice Hillary se masturber avec un énorme crucifix, comme dans "L'exorciste". Pourtant, on ne voit pas cette scène dans le film. Est-ce que tu l'a coupé au montage ?
In the credits of beginning, one sees Hillary masturbating with an enormous crucifix, as in "the exorcist". But one does not find this scene in film. Did you remove it with the assembly ?

That was one of the scenes that Metro decided to cut out. I wasn’t happy about that, but my hands were tied Watch for the directors cut it most likely will be in there.

-> C’est l’une des scènes que Métro avait décidé de couper. Je n’en étais pas content mais je n’avais pas le choix. Attendez le "director’s cut", elle sera probablement dedans.

* Le décor de la cinquième histoire m'a fait penser à celui du film de John Carpenter "L'antre de la folie", j'ai raison ?
Did the decoration of the last history make me think of film of John Carpenter "In the mouth of madness", I have good ?

Yes, that is an amazing movie and I totally wanted to pay homage to it by making a similar set.

-> Oui, c’est un film très étonnant, et je voulais absolument lui rendre hommage en créant un décor similaire.

*Comment ont réagi les actrices quand tu leur a annoncé qu'elles allaient devenir des zombies ou qu'elles allaient devoir faire l'amour avec des zombies ? Ca devait être une première pour elles !!
How did the actresses react when announced you to them that they were going to be zombies or that they to go to make love with zombies ? That was to be a first for them! (lol)

All of the chicks were really excited to be zombies. The guys on the other hand were not happy at all funny how that worked out

-> Toutes les actrices étaient très excitées à l’idée d’être des zombies. Les acteurs par contre n’étaient pas très heureux. Marrant comment tout cela s’est goupillé.

* Tu as remarqué que la peinture sur leurs visages à tendance à partir quand elles pratiquent la fellation ? En France, nous avons un film de zombies "Le lac des morts-vivants" où l'on peut voir la même chose, les zombies sont dans l'eau et le maquillage disparaît de leur visage, tu m'as fait penser à ce film...(rires)
You noticed that painting on their face was being gone from there by suck?? In France, we have a zombie movie, "zombies lake" or one sees the same thing, the zombies are in water and painting from goes away from their face, you made me think of this film...(llooollll)

Lol yea the make up did start to fall apart towards the end of the scenes, but Porn of the Dead was shot in 2 days and I couldn’t worry about too much. lol

-> (Rires). Oui le maquillage a commencé à tomber en morceaux à la fin des scènes, mais “Porn of the Dead" a été filmé en deux jours et je ne pouvais pas trop m’en préoccuper.

* La bande originale du film est composé principalement de morceaux de groupes de métal, tu aimes ce genre de musique ? Que penses-tu qu'elle apporte à un film de ce genre ? On en entend souvent dans les films d'horreurs...
The soundtrack of "Porn of the Dead" is composed of group of metal, you like this music? What do you think that it brings to this kind of film? One often finds it in traditional films of horrors also...

I love death metal. I was so honored to have those bands be apart of the soundtrack. It went great with the movie. I originally was going to have a punk rock sound track but right before we started production I decided to go all death metal to give the movie an even darker feel.

-> J’adore le Death Metal. J’étais très honoré d’avoir ces groupes pour la bande originale du film. Cela rend vraiment bien dans le film. Au départ, je voulais mettre une BO plus punk-rock mais au final, avant de commencer la production, j’ai décidé de mettre du Death Metal pour donner au film une ambiance plus sombre, glauque.

* Y'aura t'il un "Porn of the Dead 2" ?
Be made "porn of the dead 2" ?

I am sure that there will be.

* Pour la dernière question, as-tu eu le temps de surfer sur notre site et qu'en as-tu pensé ?
